Kazakhstan men’s national tennis team has moved up from 13th to 9th in the world rankings after beating rivals from Norway in a recent qualifier to reach the Davis Cup Finals (the world team championship) for the third time. Croatia tops the list, Spain is the second best, and France closes the top three.

The group stage of the Davis Cup Finals will be held in September, the playoffs in November. The cities that will host the group stage and the playoffs will be known at the end of March or at the beginning of April this year.
